Kids First Fund Grants
Grants of varying amounts have been used in a wide variety of ways to help enhance Racine Unified students’ learning experiences.
- A number of book clubs have been formed, both to expand reading skills and to help mastery of English as a second language.
- Outdoor projects have helped both the environment and the students carrying out the projects.
- A district video program has been put into place, combined with video education for students.
- An artist-in-residence program has opened doors for young children to experience the arts and sciences.
The list goes on. The important fact to remember is that none of these special projects would have happened without The Kids First Fund.
